My darkest days.

The days when I felt lost.
Confused.
Frustrated the most.
Disconnected.

Especially around money in my life.

These were the times when I was not clear about the core values I lived by.

Core values.

What we stand for and what we do not.

Our beliefs.

What do you stand for?

What do you not stand for?

Are you clear about this in your life?

A few core values I stand for in my life are:

  • Accountability.
  • Self-reliance.
  • Integrity.
  • Honesty.
  • Love.
  • Trust.
  • Friendship.
  • Service.
  • Creation.
  • Exchange.
  • Forgiveness.
  • Appreciation.
  • Positive Focus.
  • Abundant minded.
  • Vulnerability.
  • Real.
  • Raw.
  • Relevant.
  • Results driven.
  • Organization.
  • Efficiency.
  • Producer vs Consumer minded.

When I am not living any of my, or our family’s, core values, I get frustrated and confused.
I get upset.
Discontent.
I feel unworthy.
Low self-worth kicks in.

It’s for sure a slippery slope.

Contrast that to when I am living them.

  • I feel a deeper sense of joy.
  • Fulfillment.
  • Love.
  • Desire to create and exchange with others.
  • Clear.
  • Focused.
  • Appreciative.
  • Abundant.
  • Wise.
  • On fire.
  • At peace.
  • Driven.
  • Worthy.

Here’s the bottom line.

When I’m out of integrity with my core values, my self-worth lowers.

Self-worth comes from being in integrity with my core values.
This is a deeply fulfilling life for me to live.

Do I mess up?
Make mistakes?
Yes.
However now, I don’t shame or guilt myself. I extract the lesson, apply it and share it with others to benefit from.
