My hands were sweating anticipating the input I would receive from the Chairman of my Board.

Recently I flew to Austin, TX to attend my quarterly board meeting.

Do you live there?
Ever been?
Heard great things about Austin?

I really enjoyed it.

  • Clean city.
  • Great food.
  • Progressive and friendly people.

Back to the meeting itself.
Preparing for the meeting, in and of itself, was extremely powerful for me.

  • My numbers.
  • My Board Report.

Yes, my numbers. The same numbers I talk to each of you about.

  • Balance Sheet.
  • Income Statement.
  • Majors and Minors.
  • KPI’s.

For me, this is a quarterly occurrence.

Yes, each quarter, spending valuable time reviewing what has been accomplished and preparing for what I will create over the next 90 days.

Then, I present my work to my board for valuable feedback.

  • Perspective.
  • Challenging my numbers.
  • My key indicators.
  • Identifying trends.

Why do any of this?
Why might it be valuable for you to get perspective and feedback on your company?

Because it is your #1 Investment.

Don’t gamble.
Gambling is leaving things to chance.

Don’t gamble.
Don’t leave things to chance.

If you truly believe in what you are offering to the marketplace, then take the time to ensure the ability to continue doing that in the highest and best way possible.

Creating the most for you and creating the most for those around you.

Awareness is step 1.
Become aware.
No one is coming to save you. You must take the action.

What kind of action do we take?
A better question would then be, What do I want?
Why do I want it?

How much value do I want to create in the marketplace?

What is in your way of making this all a reality?
