Since the year 2000, Michael Isom has been helping business owners, professionals, and families protect, grow, and pass on wealth. He is the co-author of What Would the Rockefellers Do? with Garrett Gunderson and the author of What We’re Worth.

Michael came into financial services as a way to take care of his family. But the more he learned and the more mistakes he saw people making with their money, the deeper his passion grew to help people make better financial decisions.

At the height of his early career, Michael took a gamble on a bad investment and lost $4.8 million—his entire family’s life savings. At the lowest point of his experience, in the fall of 2010, he found himself on the bathroom floor with a pistol in his mouth, ready to pull the trigger.

Thankfully, he put the gun down and, in that moment, promised to God and himself that he would extract the lessons he had learned and share them with as many people as possible.

That is what he has been doing ever since. He has since earned back all the cash he lost and has helped hundreds of families learn and apply the AIS Triangle in their lives.

Michael is passionate about simplifying personal finance, investing, and saving and helping people apply the AIS Triangle to protect, grow, and pass on wealth. He loves helping people to stop gambling and take their financial life back under control.

Michael has been married to his wife, Wendy, for over 30 years. They have two children, Kennedy, and Kadin, and a grandson, Weston.

When Michael isn’t working, you’ll find him spending time with his wife and family, dirt biking, traveling, and learning by attending live events. He is a three-time UTV World Champion in off-road desert racing.
