Anxiety & Fear were the emotions hitting millions of Americans this Christmas as the negative difference between average Vs actual in the stock market continued to widen.
The downward trend in the stock market has been startling, the Dow dropping 2,896.02points over the past two months.

But then, on Dec 26 in an unexplainable jump, the Dow rose 1,086.25 points!
The biggest one day increase in its history.
The news rang out:
The U.S. had avoided a recession as the Dow gained almost 5% in one day.
Then 15 hours later it all changed again:
“Stocks fall after disappointing consumer confidence report as Dow loses almost 400 points” – USA Today Dec 27 2018
“Ironically … one would expect higher returns with higher risk, but for the past two years we’ve underscored a slightly more treacherous environment for investors: higher risk and lower returns,” Vanguard’s global chief economist Joe Davis said as he unveiled his forecasts.
He expects global stock markets to return 4.5 percent to 6.5 percent annually over the next 10 years, in dollar terms, versus the 12.6 percent they had provided annually since the market’s bottom following the 2008 financial crisis.”
