If the insurance company requests a medical exam you will receive a phone call directly from the examination company to schedule an appointment. The fees for this exam are covered by the life insurance company and generally the examiner will come to your home or your office. However, you do have an option to go to an office if needed.
The exam will consist of:
- reviewing a health questionnaire,
- height,
- weight,
- blood pressure readings,
- blood draw,
- urine sample.
Depending on age and death benefit amount applied for, the examiner may take a resting EKG.
